When fibroids are removed by surgery (Myomectomy) or are shrunk by Uterine Fibroid Embolization, the uterus will return
to normal size. Unfortunately, Myomectomy can damage the uterine lining, impairing fertility. There is also a 30% chance
of fibroid re-growth. Embolization has neither of these problems. As a non-surgical procedure, it also won't leave scars on
the stomach or bikini area.
